Hi, I’m Caren - a certified counselor & teacher, and homeschooling mom of two beautiful, energetic boys. With over 19 years of experience in education and counseling, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children and families through both joyful milestones and tough seasons.
I’m a certified school counselor, a registered mental health counseling intern in Florida, and a certified teacher with a heart for emotional growth and resilience. I created Brave & Bright Collective so I could support families in a more personalized, flexible way - especially those navigating homeschool, transitions, or emotional challenges.
After stepping away from the traditional school system to be home with and homeschool my boys, I felt called to continue serving families through virtual and in-person counseling, enrichment classes, and academic tutoring. Whether it’s helping a child manage big emotions, guiding a teen through self-discovery, helping a child academically, or supporting a family’s unique journey, I am here to walk alongside you with encouragement and care.
